THE MUDDY MUTT POLICIES

We are focused on providing a safe and secure environment for your pet. To ensure the health and safety of your pet/s as well as our other guests, we require all of our clients to read and understand the following policies.

Vaccinations

We have a responsibility to ensure the health and safety of all the animals in our care, and require that every grooming guest be up-to-date on their rabies, distemper and bordetella vaccinations. You will be required to bring your vaccination verification or you can email them to us beforehand. If you do NOT have up-to-date vaccinations at the time of the appointment we may cancel it.

Other:

I understand that pictures or videos might be taken of my dog while getting groomed for marketing purposes.

I understand that I am solely responsible for any harm or damage caused by my dog at The Muddy Mutt. I further agree to indemnify The Muddy Mutt, its owners, and staff for any loss, liability, damage, or costs they may incur due to any harm caused by my dog(s).

I understand that if I show up more than 60 minutes late to pick up my dog after being alerted he/she is done a late fee/daycare fee of $15 will be applied. The Muddy Mutt  can not hold dogs past the allotted appointment time due to kennel space. I am aware that my dog(s) will be held in a dog safe crate during their time at The Muddy Mutt 

Scheduling and Cancellation Policy

We strive to provide a professional service from start to finish with your cooperation and know that from time to time, things happen and we will do our best to accommodate your changing schedule. 

 We-Wash

  • Please provide a minimum 24-hour cancellation or rescheduling notice so we have time to fill in the missing slot. We provide courtesy email and text reminders 48-hours in advance for your convenience. 

  • If you are running late, please call, text or email us and leave a message. Your appointment time slot will be held for a maximum of 15 minutes. If you arrive later than 15 minutes for your scheduled appointment time,  your appointment may be cancelled as a no show. Please understand that when you are late, it affects our ability to provide timely service for other clients that day.

  • When cancelling or rescheduling an appointment, please make sure you contact us either by phone  or in an email and make sure you receive a confirmation from the mutt.  

  • All pets must have an up-to-date vaccinations on file. New client registrations and existing client record updates can be done at the mutt with a proof. 

  • Bathers can provide a rough estimate for the length of the total service at the time of drop off. We provide ample notice to travel allow time to pick up your pet.  Our policy is to have all pets out within 1 hour of service completion to ensure comfort for the animals and ask that owners do pick up their pets when called/texted, if arrived after the hour then a $15 late fee will be added 

 Full Grooms

  • Please provide a minimum 24-hour cancellation and rescheduling notice so we have time to fill in the missing slot. We provide courtesy email and text reminders 48-hours in advance for your convenience. If client cancels or no shows to appointment, deposit will NOT be refunded. If the client reschedules the appointment at least 24-hours before appointment grooming deposit WILL be valid for next appointment.

  • If you are running late, please call, text or email us and leave a message. Your appointment time slot will be held for a maximum of 15 minutes. If you arrive later than 15 minutes for your scheduled appointment time,  your appointment may be cancelled as a no show. Please understand that when you are late, it affects our ability to provide timely service for other clients that day.

Pricing
Grooming prices vary from breed to breed, depending on the  size, hair type, the frequency of grooming, condition and length of the coat, type of haircut, and temperament of the pet. 

Dogs with matted or very thick coats, or temperamental personalities often take extra time to groom, in which case a matting or special handling charge with be added to the grooming price
